Hazel Evelyn Russell Croft

Gauley Bridge, WV – Hazel Evelyn Russell Croft, 98, of Gauley Bridge entered into rest on Wednesday, January 08, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Glasgow.

Born December 4, 1915 in Hawks Nest, she was the daughter of the late David and Myrtle McGraw Russell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Croft; daughter, Beverly Welch; grandson, Jay Welch, and her siblings, April Nickel, David Russell, Majel Farha and Lillian Green.

She was a member of Gauley Bridge Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Bernard Lee “Butch” Croft and his wife, Bonnie, of Gauley Bridge; grandchildren, Kim (Wade) Willnow, David Hornsby and Shannon Bishop; three great-grandchildren.

Services were held at 12 noon, Monday, January 13, 2014, at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, with Reverend Charles Blankenship officiating. Burial followed in Montgomery Memorial Park, London.
