Harold (Bob) Dennis

71 of Maysville, Ohio went home to be with his Lord and Savior. On the eve of Friday February 14, 2014 at home following an extended illness.

Bob was born on September 7, 1942 to the late Ivan Dennis and Nellie Runion Dennis. He was preceded in death by a grand daughter Katrina Gingerich. Brother- William (Bill) Dennis, 7 half brothers- John, Raymond, Harry, Clyde, Jack, Glen, Don, and Curtis. Sisters- Hazel M. Nichols and Anna Mae Kowalczak. 1 half sister Agnes Starcher.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years Ruth Ann (Lemon) Dennis. Children- Craig Dennis of Columbus, Ohio, Christopher (Lorie) Dennis of Galloway, Ohio, Charles (Wendy) Dennis of Marion, Ohio, Amanda (Christopher) Mitchell of Virginia. 9 grand children and 9 great grandchildren. Sisters- Carolyn Sue (Billy) Bostic of Clay, West Virginia, Brenda K. (Jeff) Williams of Clendenin, West Virginia. Bob was a Army Veteran of the Vietnam war and was a member of Plain City, Ohio VFW. He was a retired professional truck driver. In his spare time he enjoyed watching T.V., reading books, and talking to his friends. Memorial service will be held at the Nutrition Center at Two Run on March 8, 2014 at 2pm. Graveside service will be held at a later date at the Dobbins Cemetery near Clay, West Virginia with military rights. We would like to thank the Ingram Funeral Home of Maysville, Ohio and the Wilson Shamblin Smith Funeral Home in Clay West Virginia.
