Gene Taylor

Gene Taylor, 73 of Indore, entered into rest Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born May 8, 1944 in Clay, he was the son of the late Johnny and Eva (Snyder) Taylor. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his son, Gary Taylor; brothers, Teddy, Johnny and Jackie Taylor and sisters, Deloris Faye Workman and Connie Moore.

Gene is survived by his wife, Opal Marie Taylor of Indore, daughter, Linda (Ronald) Adkins; sons Terry and Troy Taylor; seven grandchildren, Jeanie (Jonathan) Holcomb, Holli (Jeremiah) Harris, Ryan (Cory) Taylor, Michael Adkins, Kevin Taylor, Steven Taylor and Kelly Taylor and two great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Judy Taylor; and brother-in-law Johnny Workman.

A graveside service was held January 11, 2018, at Adkins Cemetery, Upper Sycamore Road, with Minister Naaman Moore officiating.
