Erma Ann Cottrell

Morgantown, WV – Erma Ann Cottrell, 67, of Morgantown, entered into rest Tuesday, November 10, 2015.
Born September 30, 1948 in Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Dorothy (Hamrick) Smith. In addition to her parents Erma was also preceded in death by her husband John Letchard Cottrell; two sisters, Dolly and Freda Smith; and two brothers, Delmas and Leon Smith.
Erma is survived by her sons, John (Tina) Cottrell and Mike (Mary) Cottrell; daughter, Tammy (Jed) Dalton all of Morgantown; brothers, Billy Smith and Kenneth Smith both of Ohio; Jimmy Smith, Burl Smith and Arthur Smith all of Clay; sister, Thelma “Sissy” Nottingham of Buffalo, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews; half-brothers, Denzil, David and Manuel Smith; half-sisters, Chrissy and Bobbie Joe Smith.
Funeral service was held 11:00 am Friday, November 13, 2015 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister Wayne Litton officiating. Burial was in the Smith Family Cemetery, Patty Ridge.
