Clay, WV – Emily June King, 71, of Clay, entered into rest Sunday, March 22, 2015.

Born March 29, 1943 in Widen, she was the daughter of the late Dempsey and Pearl Blankenship.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her son Paul King Jr and brother, Ronald Keith Blankenship.

She was retired from Naval Ordinance Station.

Emily is survived by her daughter, Sheila Nottingham of Maysel; grandchildren Michael King and Patrick King both of St. Mary’s, MD; Justin Delwarte and Ronee Nottingham both of Clay and 3 great-grandchildren, brothers, Dempsey Blankenship Jr. of Summersville, Jerry Blankenship of Dunbar, sisters, Linda Kay Hawley of Scott Depot, Shirley Butler and Crystal Salisbury both of Summersville and Vickie Orange of Roanoke, VA

Graveside service will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Summersville, with Minister John Osborne officiating.
