Strange Creek, WV – Elmer J. “Bill” Frame, 82, of Strange Creek, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday September 8, 2013 at Summersville Regional medical Center. He was born January 28, 1931 in Strange Creek to the late Lewis and Dora Stewart Frame.
He was a member of the Walnut Grove Methodist Church. He also was a retired Coal Miner for Island Creek Coal Company with 40 years of service and a member of the UMWA. He loved collecting guns and knives as his hobby.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Hilda Jean Frame and daughter; Patsy Jean Conrad; 6 sisters and 5 brothers.
He is survived by his sons, Mike (Mitzi) Frame, Tony (Rhonda) Frame, Teddy (Diane) Frame all of Strange Creek, Wayne (Lynn) Frame of Dille, J.B. (Paula) Frame and Billy Frame all of Birch River, Brent Frame of Elyria, Ohio, daughter; Marsha (Gary) Garvin of Gassaway, 18 Grandchildren, 29 great-grand-children and 1 great-great grandchild. And the highlight of his day was seeing his special buddy “Cash”.
Funeral services were held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday September 11, 2013, Walnut Grove Methodist Church, Strange Creek, WV with Rev. Danny Richardson officiating. Burial followed the service in the church cemetery. Friends called 6-8 p.m. Tuesday September 10, 2013 at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, Sutton.
