Gauley Bridge, WV – Elizabeth Joan Adkins Queen, 54, of Gauley Bridge passed away Thursday, October 16, 2014 at CAMC Memorial Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Carla “Sis” Adkins, “Uncle” Jim Childers and cousin, Jimmy Childers.

She is survived by her husband, Danny; mother, Ethel Adkins; sisters, Trudy Childers, Jeanie Shamblin and Valorie Adkins; as well as a several nieces and nephews.

Service was 1 PM Monday, October 20, 2014, with her cousin, James Adkins officiating. Burial followed at Hill Cemetery, Belva, WV.

Family received friends 2 hours prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in her memory to The American Cancer Society.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.carlwilsonfuneralhome.com
