Dorvil Harold Taylor

Lizemores, WV – Dorvil Harold Taylor, 76, of Lizemores, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 20, 2015.
Born June 6, 1939, in Leatherwood, he was the son, of the late Willie and Flossie (Morris) Taylor.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Denzil, Darrell, Duvil, Dwayne, Drexel, and sister, Mona Jeffers.
He was a coal miner for 32 years.
Dorvil is survived by his wife, Wanda Taylor; children and spouses, Harold (Robin) Taylor, Ritchie (Stephanie) Taylor, Melissa (Mike) Bohan, and Regina (Tim) Blankenship; brother, Doyle Taylor; sisters, Zona Rader, Theda Dailey and Karen Boggs; eleven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister John Osborne officiating. Burial will be in the Willie Taylor Cemetery, Leatherwood.
Friends may call from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 23, at the funeral home.
