Delbert Shawn Adkins

Beloved husband, father, son, and brother, Delbert Shawn Adkins, 47, of Kings Mountain, passed away on March 29, 2021 in his home.

Shawn was born in Summersville, West Virginia, to Carolyne Kiser and Delbert Adkins on August 19, 1973. He was married to Stephanie Allison Adkins for 13 years. He worked as a repo man for many years. He was a veteran and served in the United States Navy. Shawn was passionate about his family and the military.

Shawn is survived by his wife, Stephanie Adkins; his children, Kirra and Gabriel Adkins; his sister, Amber Kiser; his brothers, Randall, Dustin, Derrick, Joseph, and Jordan Adkins; his mother and stepfather, Carolyne and Fred Kiser; his father and stepmother, Delbert and Loetta Adkins; and his nephew, Oakley Murray.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 5, 2021 at New Life Family Worship Center in Kings Mountain, NC, by Harris Funeral Home. A graveside service was held Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Adkins Cemetery in Dog Run.
