Jean was 87 years old when she went home to be with our Lord and the rest of our family that have already made life’s greatest journey. She will be dearly missed by those of us left behind.
Jean was indeed a special woman and a credit to the Boggs’ family. She was an avid reader, skilled published poet and the writer of some children’s storybooks that may yet find themselves in print. She also was a retired educator at Frametown Elementary School in Braxton County. WV and had previously taught in Jacksonville, FL.
Funeral service was held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 16, 2015 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay. Jean was a native of West Virginia, born and raised at Big Otter and will find her final resting place at the Boggs Cemetery in Big Otter (Exit 40, I 79).
