Daniel Warden Nichols

Jodie, WV – Daniel Warden Nichols, “Whitey”, 58, of Jodie passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Montgomery General Hospital.

He was a truck driver for Cedar Trucking in Glasgow.

Born April 28, 1956 in Gauley Bridge, he is the son of the late Earl Warden and Mamie (Johnson) Nichols.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son, Jesse Franklin Nichols.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Peggy (Jones) Nichols; sons, Brian Daniel Nichols and Jeremy Warden Nichols of Jodie; daughter, Erlene Noel Nichols of Jodie; sisters, Christine Holstein and husband, Larry of Swiss, Rita Estep and husband, Tim of Jodie, Lisa Spaulding and husband, Jerry of Swiss; brothers, Todd Nichols and wife, Mary of Rock Camp, Glen Nichols and wife, Brenda of Belva, and Steven Nichols and wife, Tina of Mount Olive; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service took place at 1 PM on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Brownsville Holiness Church with the Reverend Charles Blankenship officiating. Burial followed at Rich Creek Community Cemetery in Jodie.
