Dalma Weese McMillion Barber

barber  OBITGauley Bridge, WV – Dalma Weese McMillion Barber, 87, of Gauley Bridge, entered into rest August 13, 2013 after a long illness surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on May 3, 1926, she was the daughter of Bertha Weese. In addition to her loving mother, she was also preceded in death by four brothers; her first husband, Eugene McMillion; her second husband, Tom Barber and two daughters, Sandra K. Tryon and Susan F. Roop.
She was a member and lay speaker of Gauley Bridge United Methodist Church since 1960.
Survivors include her daughters, Ella Asbury and husband, Walter, of Gauley Bridge; Cheryl Cobb and husband, Thomas, of Page; Linda Creel and husband, Dana, of Teays Valley; son, Eugene F. McMillion and wife, Brenda, of Gauley Bridge; brother, Larry Weese and wife, Brenda, of Ripley. She was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was 3 pm Friday, August 16, 2013, at Glen Ferris Apostolic Church with Reverend David Bounds and Reverend Mark Skaggs officiating.
Burial followed in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.
