Connie Sue (Rogers) Mahony Arnold, age 86 of Cuyahoga Falls, formerly of Rootstown, passed away September 20, 2026.
She was born July 23, 1940, in Porter Falls, West Virginia, to parents Clifford and Bonnie (Ater) Rogers. Connie attended Clay County High School in West Virginia, and then moved to northeast Ohio shortly after. She worked at several rubber manufacturing facilities throughout her career.
Connie loved to travel. She and her husband, Ray, traveled all 48 states of the continental United States, including all of the county seats in Ohio and West Virginia. She loved South Dakota and the Black Hills area. Her travels would often lead to a trip to the casino.
Connie is survived by her husband Ray Arnold, her daughters: Sherry (Steve) Daugherty and Christine (Joe) Strahler, as well as her siblings: Shirley (Eugene) Groves, Ronnie Rogers and Betty Menendez, along with many loving nieces and nephews. She was known as “MeMe” to her grandchildren: Misty Basford, Derick (Annabel) Hoskin, Lydia Strahler, and Andrew Strahler, and her great-grandchildren: Dakota, Colton, Kannon, James, Henry, and Montgomery.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Kay Lantz.
Friends and family were received Monday, September 28, 2026, from 5-7 p.m. with funeral service following at 7 p.m. at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E Main St, Ravenna. Interment took place on Tuesday at 1:15 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
