Clothen Nichols

Clothen “Junior” Nichols, 76, of Nebo, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at his residence, surrounded by his family.

He was born August 30, 1941 at Newton, a son of Ethel Kathleen Nichols of Wallback, and the late Clothen Nichols. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Harrison.

Junior was a former employee of US Steel, and a member of the Nebo Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Linda L. Tanner Nichols of Nebo; sons, Shawn Krajeski of Maysel, and Jason Nichols of Nebo; daughter, Kristy Belt of Nebo; sisters, Emogene Tanner of Lorain, OH, Dorothy Tanner of Clendenin, Betty Klingensmith of Fayetteville, and Cheryl Hensley of Wallback. Junior is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Wednesday, December 13, at the Nebo Baptist Church, Nebo, with Pastor Kenneth Tanner officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer.
