Charles M. Hamrick

Smithville, OK – Charles Hamrick, 86, of Smithville, OK passed from this life Saturday, January 18,2014. He was born the son of Theodore Hamrick and Stella Hughes Hamrick in Clay County, WV on March 12, 1927. He proudly served his country in the Army during World War II. He and his wife, Gailya, were married December 1953 in Fort Worth, TX.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents Theodore Hamrick and Stella Hughes Hamrick, his wife, Gailya, and several siblings.

He leaves to cherish his memory: two sons, Keith Hamrick and wife Louise of Smithville, OK and E.O. Hamrick of Smithville, OK; One daughter Jeri Holman and husband Alvin of Smithville, OK; One brother Jeff Hamrick of Elizabethton, TN; Three sisters Velma Tippett of TN, Ernestine Turner and Jann Wagner of GA; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
