Carl Andrew Taylor of Bickmore

In loving memory of Carl Andrew Taylor of Bickmore, WV, who sadly left us January 7, 2023, after his struggle with cancer.

He was born on May 9, 1948.

Carl enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching westerns, and spending time with his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren.

He was a loving and caring father to his daughter, Mary Moore of Bickmore, WV; and Joe Taylor of Bickmore, WV. Addition to his two children and grandchildren and great grandchildren, he is survived by his sisters Linda (Kay) Stahl and Glenna Brandenburg of New York.

He is previously departed loved ones included his wife of 55 years, Debbie Taylor; his son, Harlan Taylor; and his brothers, Willie, Perk, Jimmy, and Johnny Taylor.

Special thanks to Clarence Ramsey (Grandpa Kelly) for his care with Carl. Special thanks also goes to the Hospice staff for his care in this time of need. 

A visitation was held at Wilson Smith Funeral Home in Clay on Friday, January 13, 2023, from 6 to 8:00 p.m.

A funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday January 14, 2023, at Wilson Smith Funeral Home in Clay. Burial followed in the Taylor Cemetery on Beechy Ridge.
