Bertha Rose Elswick Clay, WV – Bertha Rose Elswick, 79, of Clay, entered into rest Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Born December 29, 1935 in Nicholas County, she was the daughter of the late Fenny Keenan and Elise (Miller) Kennan Nottingham. Rose is survived by her husband Arlon Elswick, son, Floyd Graham, daughters, Estel Hockman and Dolly Graham, 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren brother, Willis Nottingham and sister, Georgia Ratliff. Funeral service was held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 10, 2015 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, with Minister Ralph Lane officiating. Burial was in Stephenson Cemetery, Pisgah Ridge.
