Barbra Jean (Parsons) Kincaid, 75, of Dixie, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, May 1, 2017.

Born on December 2, 1941 to Mack and late Hallie Parsons of Dixie, our beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother can now rest in her victory. Through her life, she maximized her gifts in education, music, loyalty and devotion just to name a few, to live her life’s motto of “Bloom Where You are Planted.”

Left to cherish her memory are beloved husband of 52 years, Mr. Bobby G. Kincaid of Dixie, her father Mr. Mack M. Parsons of Dixie, her brother Mr. Mack E. Parsons, with his wife Vivian of Charleston, her son Mr. Robert M. Kincaid, with his wife Jennifer of Beckley, her son Dr. Eric R. Kincaid, with his wife Marcie of Morgantown. She also leaves behind four beautiful grandchildren; Brett Gadomski, Laken Kincaid, Robbie Kincaid, and Katie Kincaid.

Our hearts break but our souls rejoice because now she can “Run and not be weary, she can walk and not faint.” Her life resonated with her Savior’s traits of humility, grace, kindness, and sincerity.

She fought the good fight, she has finished her course, and she kept her faith. She will forever bask in the Glory of her perfection with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Those of us who are left can honor her memory by following her example; Lets “bloom where we are planted.”

The family would like to give a special thanks to Pat Elswick with Kanawha Hospice.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, at the Bell Creek Baptist Church in Dixie with Pastor Shane Wynn officiating. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens in Ansted.

Friends may call one hour prior to service at the Bell Creek Baptist Church, Dixie.

On-line condolences may be sent to the family at www.carlwilsonfuneralhome.com Pennington Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Kincaid Family.
