Barbara June Fitzwater

Barbara June Fitzwater, 80, of Dixie, entered into rest Tuesday, June 19, 2018.

Born June 30, 1937 in Clay, she was the daughter of the late Wilford and Ada (Legg) Holcomb. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fitzwater.

Barbara is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Melanie and Danny Foster of Craigsville, granddaughters, Amy Reed of Gauley Bridge, Brandi and Matt Turner of Oak Hill, grandson, Casey Foster of Craigsville, great-grandchildren, Ashton Reed of Fayetteville, Bretton Turner and Brynlee Turner both of Oak Hill; sisters, Patricia (Richard) White of Aulander, N.C., Wilma (Buddy) Duncan of Alum Ridge, Va., Romona (John) Tuggle of Oak Hill; brothers, Wilbur (June) Holcomb of Indore, Paul (Kathy) Holcomb of Clendenin, Jimmie (Mary) Holcomb of Maysel and Darius (Pam) Holcomb of Indore.

A funeral service was held at 12 P.M. Friday, June 22, at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister Dennis Legg officiating.  Burial followed in Cline Cemetery, Indore.
