Alton Blair Brown

Alton Blair Brown, 70, of Belpre, died on Nov. 11, 2013.
He was born in Clay County, W.Va., on Feb. 21, 1943, and was the son of the late Leonard Clemence and Dimple Marie Holcomb.
He was a veteran of the Air Force. He retired from Johns Manville after 28 years of service. He loved to fish and boat.
Survivors include his son, Burton (Terrie) Brown of Belpre, Lisa (Donald) Fought of Belpre, Tonia (Bob) Moore of Belpre; eight grandsons; two granddaughters; two great-grandsons; and one great-granddaughter. Also surviving are three sisters, Patty Strickler of Pennsylvania, Glenna Oglesby of Gauley Bridge, W.Va., and Wilma Fiscel of Summersville, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Weldon Brown.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre, with Rev. Wilbert Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockland Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
