Alan Dean Moore

Swiss, WV – Alan Dean Moore, 51, of Swiss died September 27, after a sudden illness.
He was born February 17, 1962 in The Philippines, a son of the later Arthur and Doreen (Bowen) Moore.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Moore (Sherry).
Survivors include his wife, Melba Moore of Swiss; sons, James Moore of Florida, Alan “Aaron” Moore and Adam Moore at home; a daughter, Andrea Moore, at home; seven brothers, James Bowen (Rosie) of Hurst, Texas, Robert Bowen (Deonne) on White Oak, Arthur E. Moore, Jr. (Racheal) of Ft. Worth, Texas, Terry Moore of Alvarado, Texas, Bobby Moore (Becky) of Ansted, Benjamin Moore (Vernice) of Ripley, and Timothy Moore of Glen Ferris; and two special little guys that called Alan “Popaw”, Finnie and Ray Cox.
Alan will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, October 4, at the Simms United Methodist Church in Swiss with the Rev. David Bowe officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Friends may call two hours prior to service time at the church. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.carlwilsonfuneralhome.com
Pennington Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Moore family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Melba Moore or Pennington Funeral Home.
