The Panther track team is back at it again at the Constellium Invitational track meet. In a recent track meet, Trevor Armes placed 1st in the 100 m, 3rd in the 200m, 1st in the 400m, and 1st in the 800m. The boys team and girls teams both got 2nd place overall, earning them the first trophies won since the track team was reborn. Trevor won the high point award that goes out to the athletes that score the most points in that meet, scoring 36 points by himself.
Congratulations to the track team, they will be participating in the Nicholas County Invitational on Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 and then again at the Capitol City Classic on Saturday at Laidly Field. Boys total score – 84 points, Girls total score – 85 points.

Girls – Cassie Sampson 400m Dash – 2nd place; Amber Woodrum – 400m Dash – 4tth place; Cierra Kent – 100m High Hurdles – 4th place, 300m Low Hurdles – 4th place, Long Jump – 3rd place; Kassidy Williams – shotput – 3rd place, discus – 2nd place; Emmy Cottrell – shotput 2nd place, discus – 3rd place; 4x100m relay team – 3rd place; Emilee Butcher, Payton Loving, Hannah Casto, Emmy Cottrell; 4x200m Relay 2nd place – Amber Woodrum, Cassie Sampson, Payton Loving, Emilee Butcher; 4×102.5m shuttle hurdle relay team 2nd place, Courtney Bevins, Payton Loving, Hannah Casto, and Cierra Kent.
