Ivydale, WV – Ingfrid Karin Canfield, 74, Ivydale, a beloved mother and grandmother entered into rest, February 7, 2016 at her home after a short illness.
Born March 10, 1941 in Mandal, Norway, she was the daughter of the late Karsten Agathon and Alma M. (Loen) Hansen. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Varis Lee Canfield, Sr.
She was a homemaker and business woman.
Ingfrid is survived by her daughters, Darlene Caban of Ocala, Fla., Arlene (David) Tucker of Ivydale; son, Varis Lee (Rita Anderson) Canfield Jr of Ivydale; grandchildren, Greta M. (Caban) Owen, Jason D. Tucker, MD., Nathan D. Caban, Lindsay J. (Caban) Meredith, Christian Lee Caban, Natalie R. (Caban) Abrams, Kevin Lee Canfield, Amy M. Caban; and great-grandchildren, Seth, Gage and Grace Owens, Silas and Isaac Caban, Braylen Canfield and Violet Abrams.
Funeral service was held 12:00 P.M. Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister Wayne Litton officiating. Burial was in Canfield Cemetery, Ivydale.
