Two students from Clay County were awarded their degrees during the Glenville State College December Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, December 12. The graduates were made up of approximately 90 students who completed their degree requirements in July and December 2015. The students come from several counties throughout West Virginia as well as seven other states (California, Kansas, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and the District of Columbia).
Courtney Cole of Lizemores graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education in Music (PreK-adult).
Dylan Vaughan of Duck graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education in Elementary Education (K-6) and Early Education (PreK-K).
