Members of the Division of Corrections from Mount Olive brought K-9 units to Clay High last week in search of illegal substances in both the parking lot and inside the building. A lockdown was put in place and students were required to stay in their classrooms while the drug dogs searched the school. No drugs were found on the premises. Random drug dog searches have been implemented into the school system as part of an aggressive anti-drug policy and will continue throughout the year.
