Bufford Lynn Brown, 73, of Duck passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2023 at WVU Medicine Braxton County Memorial Hospital, Gassaway.
He was born June 16, 1949 in Braxton County to the late Thomas Brown and Rosalie James Brown.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Halstead Brown; brother, Paul Joe Brown; and sister, Nancy Frame.
Bufford enjoyed trading and selling produce. He did construction work in his life.
He will be forever remembered by his daughter, Ressie Phillips (James) of Summersville; stepdaughters, Lori Cook (David) of Liberty and Misti Silva of Cross Lanes; brother, Tommy Brown (Maria) of Amma; sisters, Mary Skidmore (Danny) of Flatwoods, Rachel McClung (Charles) of Dille; four step grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Big Union Baptist Church, Dille with Pastor Danny Richardson officiating. Interment followed in the Baughman Cemetery, Dille.
Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the church.
