Streets in full lights, Santa and Mrs. Claus, the Grinch, and so much Christmas fun could be found in Clay this weekend. The Clay County Golden Delicious Festival held the Small Town Christmas Celebration in Clay on Friday, Dec. 10. With candy, cupcakes, hot coco, letters to Santa, Christmas was in full swing.
Clay County businesses came together to decorate and make the town a beautiful Christmas wonderland for all to enjoy as the events took place. Santa dropped his reindeer off on his way into town at Hometown Floral for all the boys and girls to visit.
The Grinch arrived from Whoville to decorate over 100 cupcakes with the kids at Main Street Café where the Mud Runners also gave out gifts to the kids. Santa and Mrs. Claus were there to greet the children and get pictures.
The night finished up with the Christmas parade of lights. It is safe to say that this was a memorable night for all the kiddos of Clay County.
