Don M. Cornwell, 90, of Belva, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Oak Hill Place.
Born October 10, 1928, in Wellington, KS, he was the son of the late Alvin and Helen Cornwell. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Lee Hill Cornwell.
He retired from Trans World Airlines after 40 years of service. After retirement, Don and Virginia relocated to Belva, WV, where they made their home for more than 20 years.
Don loved airplanes and motorcycles. He will be sadly missed by his in-laws and his motorcycle and airplane buddies.
A funeral service was held at noon on Wednesday, April 3, at Bell Creek Baptist Church, with Pastor Shane Wynn officiating. Burial followed in Hill Cemetery, Belva.
Friends gathered with family one hour prior to the service at the church.
