The third annual Golden Delicious Golf Tournament was held on September 19, 2013 at Sandy Brae Golf Course. This year’s tournament was the 3rd consecutive year the tournament has shown growth in participation 52 golfers, number of sponsors and 43 individual and companies sponsoring holes and making it possible for all participants to receive gift and mementos for playing. Players from all the surrounding came to play as well as others from as far away as California (Martin “Buck” Coulter) Texas (Roger Samples) Alabama (Fred Hanna) and (Tommy Truman) of North Carolina. This years winner (gross score 69) was Tyler West. Runner up was Virgil Coulter (gross score 74). The winner with a net score of 67 was Greg Gency. Runners up were D.C. Conant and Matt Gillespie.
Again, we would like to give special thanks the individuals and companies who made this tournament possible who made the tournament our most successful to date.
