Veteran’s Day brings our heroes to the forefront of our minds but over time, their names as well as their sacrifice fade from our memories. Ninety-six men from Clay County have given their lives in military service for our country. A memorial is set up at the Clay Courthouse bearing the names of each soldier killed during World War I, World War II, Korea and the Vietnam Wars. Americans should pay tribute to those who served our country every day.
