Boy Scout Troop 123 would like to thank the veterans, their families, and the Clay community for supporting us as we served our veterans at our annual Veterans Dinner. We wish to thank the many veterans that attended the dinner not only for your support of Boy Scouts but most especially for your sacrifice to our country: Gale Brown, Sonjie Brown, widow of Paul H. Brown, Russel E. Rhodes, James M. Pritt, Ernest R. Burroughs Jr., Andy Lincolnogger, Stephen B. Smith, Jerry Bodkins, Henry R. Mullens, Larry Ramsey, William B. Lane, Frank Walker, Justin Blankenship, Johnny Bodkins, Herbery Vance, Jim Miller, Eric Dawson, Homer H. “Jake” Triplett, Gary Lee Stuber, Don Jarvis, and Mark Jaffen.
We would also like to thank IGA, Clay County High School, Kathy Legg, Dorothy Childers, Becky Pritt, Autumn Rapp, Duane Legg, and Gretta Brown for all your help and support to make the dinner a reality.
We would also like to congratulate Jeremiah Ramsey, who received his Eagle certificate and pin unceremoniously while serving our veterans during Boy Scout Troop 123’s annual Veterans Dinner at the Clay County High School. Jeremiah designed and created a nature trail, identifying many species of tree at Maysel Park. He worked hard to overcome many obstacles and faced many trials in achieving this prestigious award. His troop mates will miss him as he goes on to complete his education, and accomplish many other great things!
