The CCHS track team is in the news again and is making waves in the track world.  They competed this past Monday in the Constellium Invitational held in Ripley.

On the boys’ team, Trevor Armes placed second in the 100 and 200 meter dash, and he also placed first in the 400 meter with a time of 51.01. Ryan Burdette placed second in the 110m hurdles and Jeremiah Ramsey placed third. Brandon Daniels placed fourth in the 2 mile. Nate Canfield placed fifth in the 400 meter, as well. The Clay 4×200 relay team placed second, and the 4×400 placed second. They were third in the 4×800. Shane Bonura was sixth in the discus and sixth in the shot put. David Tanner placed fifth in the high jump and Ryan Burdette was fourth in the long jump. Congratulation to the CCHS Track and Field team on a good showing, they will be competing at Lewis County on April 28.
