The Clay County Business Development Authority, Buffalo Creek Watershed and United Way will be working together on the BCR Trail this Wednesday, September 16 to put a new floor on the Cressmont Bridge, cut brush, put up signs, etc. Anyone interested in helping, just show up at the Cressmont Bridge Wednesday morning or call 587-2949. This project is in conjunction with The Governor’s Day of Caring which is held each year in September.
Another work party will be held on Wednesday, September 30 to build an emergency/camping shelter along the trail. Volunteers are also needed for this project.
