Guess who’s coming to Atown? Knickerbockers! On June 1 and 2 for $10 per family (one $10 certificate per household, please confirm spot before May 18). The $10 must be paid to get a certificate and to be added to the list. One $10 packet includes two 10×13, two 8×10, two 5×7, and eight wallet sized photos. There will be a ramp dinner at H.E. White Elementary on Sunday, May 6, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be ramps, ham, friend potatoes with or without ramps, cornbread or roll, white or brown beans, corn and green beans, and dessert, all for $10 (excluding specials). There will be soft drinks, water, or sassafras tea. Specials are sassafras tea by the gallon for $6, and 50/50 raffle tickets at $1 apiece or 20 for $25.

The Clay County WIC office located at 452 Main Street in Clay is open to serve the public every Monday and Wednesday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.All central WIC offices will be closed May 8 for Election Day and May 28 for Memorial Day.
