The Birch River PSD will hold its regular monthly meeting on Friday, May 11, at 9 a.m., at the PSD office in Birch River.
Guess who’s coming to town? Knickerbockers! On June 1 and 2 for $10 per family (one $10 certificate per household, please confirm spot before May 18). The $10 must be paid to get a certificate and to be added to the list. One $10 packet includes two 10×13, two 8×10, two 5×7, and eight wallet sized photos. CCDC/Clay Senior Center, located at 374 Main Street, announces that they will continue their free lunch for seniors ages 60+ on Thursdays from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. They invite any local talent to come sing, dance or do crafts with the seniors. For more information, call 304-587-2468.
The Clay County WIC office located at 452 Main Street in Clay is open to serve the public every Monday and Wednesday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.All central WIC offices will be closed May 8 for Election Day and May 28 for Memorial Day.
