The 15th Annual CCHS Dinner Theater will be on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 6:00 pm. This year’s show is titled, “Squad Room Blues.” The show is a comedy set in a police squad room, with determined detectives and first-class criminals. Tickets are $20.00 each for the dinner and the show. Sam Samples Cemetery at Procious is still in need of donations as there has been little response after several weeks of advertising. Those of us with relatives and loved ones in the cemetery have a collective responsibility to maintain grounds including mowing and weed eating, tree trimming, etc. There are a faithful few who send donations but this is not sufficient to cover maintenance. If you are a foreign combat veteran interested in helping make the community we live in a better place, then the VFW is the organization that you are looking for. The VFW is now in need of the younger generation of combat veterans to start taking the reins of the organization. It is a very rewarding brother/sister hood if you are willing to put some time into some of the projects the post is involved in. We look forward to seeing you at the post hall.
