A two vehicle accident at the Clay/Kanawha county line on Thursday afternoon sent three people to the hospital. According to emergency responders, an SUV was travelling on Elk River Road when the driver lost control going around a curve, flipped over and landed on top of another car. The driver of the SUV and two children passengers were trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated by emergency personnel. All three SUV occupants were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the other car was not injured.
