With thane increase of the number of lab confirmed COVID-19 cases in Clay County, Clay County CERT has recognized the needs of businesses, volunteer organizations, public health/safety agencies, schools, and various other private/public sector entities. It is extremely important that organizations providing essential services have the proper supplies and PPE they need to protect themselves and the community.
While Clay County CERT is dedicated to filling the gaps of the community and ensuring the safety, health, preparedness, and wellbeing of every Clay County Citizen, starting June 1, 2020 Clay County CERT will begin accepting requests for essential supplies and PPE through our newest community service program: Clay County CERT COVID-19 Supplies Stockpile.
Clay County CERT has made various partnerships with individual and private/public sector donors to acquire supplies, publications, and essential PPE to ensure that the Clay County CERT COVID-19 Supplies Stockpile will provide the necessary PPE and supplies to organizations for as long as possible!
Requests for supplies or PPE made by businesses, volunteer organizations, public health/safety agencies, faith based organizations, education establishments/schools, county/town/city government, emergency management, or other entities must be made through the online form on the Clay County CERT website: https://sites.google.com/view/clay-county-cert/covid-19-response?authuser=0.
Clay County CERT will ensure that each request is reviewed and filled if supplies are available, and the request is to benefit the health/wellbeing of the community. While Clay County CERT is always seeking new supplies and searching for donors and donations, most supplies are at a high demand therefore supplies will only be distributed while they are available. Clay County CERT wants to ensure that only the proper recipients receive the supplies provided, please only request supplies if you are unable to acquire them otherwise.
