The Welfare of Animals Group (WAG) is hosting a Community Talent Show to raise funds for our spay/neuter programs on Saturday, July 7, after the Calhoun County High School Alumni Day event at the Arnoldsburg Elementary School, located at 90 Spring Run Road.
Join us for a fun evening of family entertainment, good food, and enjoy the talents of our area’s performers. Doors open at 5 p.m. and show starts at 6 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, and $2 for children over age four. Door prizes and 50/50 drawing available. Bring a bag of cat food to enter an extra door prize drawing.
Registration is open for anyone wanting to have fun, share their talent, and compete to win cash prizes. Residents of Calhoun, Clay, Gilmer, Ritchie, Roane, and Wirt counties are eligible to compete. Youth and adult categories offered with First place $100, Second place $50, Third place $25 prizes, and a $25 People’s Choice award chosen by audience ballot. Entry fee is $10 per act, and deadline for receipt of registration form and fee is Friday, June 29.
