As of this week, the Clay County Free Press will be operating out of the Mountain Media, LLC main office. This shift will allow us to devote more resources to our reporters and writing staff to further improve the quality of your paper.

Our fully staffed office is available to take calls and faxes Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The phone number for the Free Press continues to be 304-587-4250, while the fax number has changed to 304-647-5767. Press releases and photos may still be emailed to news@claycountyfreepress.com, which is the best and most efficient method to submit information to the paper. Photos that are emailed rather than faxed or physically submitted print clearer in the newspaper, so email is strongly preferred for submissions.
