Trunk-or-Treat to return in 2017

Since last year’s event went so well, Clay Middle is hosting Trunk-or-Treat again this year, and I would like to invite everyone to participate on October 31 from 6-8 p.m. at the Rite Aid and Court House parking lots. My goal is to have a safe place for children to trick-or-treat and have fun.

If you are interested in participating by decorating your vehicle and handing out candy, please RSVP via Facebook: Clay WV Trunk-or-Treat page, or contact me personally. There will be an event created called Trunk-or-Treat Night. This will help me to know how many spaces we will need to hold for your vehicles. Please join and invite your friends and family.  We will be taking candy/treat donation at Clay Middle, and Rite Aid will have a candy donation bin in their store. Donated candy and treats will be used as game prizes and extra candy for those running low. It is a great way for clubs, organizations, churches, and teams to work together for the community. Everyone is welcome to join in on the fun!

What is Trunk-or-Treat?

Some organizations around the US sponsor a “Trunk-or-Treat” on Halloween night where trick-or-treating is done from parked car to parked car in a local parking lot. Cars are decorated to look crazy and spooky. This is also great for people who do not usually get Trick-or-Treaters to join in on the fun.

Thank you,

Angela Nichols
