On Friday, May 17, at 6 p.m., the Clay County Democratic Executive Committee is hosting a 2020 Gubernatorial candidate and WV Living Magazine’s 2019 West Virginian of the Year, Stephen Smith, for a segment of his 55 county tour with a town hall meeting and highlight tour. The meeting will be at the Clay Lion’s Club on Main Street in Clay.

Stephen would like to meet average citizens and hear about issues Clay Countians are dealing with. During his visit we hope to show Stephen what needs we have around the county, as well as what makes us proud.

Please plan to join a gathering of interested citizens at the Clay Lion’s Club  to discuss what you think are important next steps for the county and your community. Light refreshments will be served and musician Harry Beall will welcome guests. To learn more about Stephen Smith, check out his candidate website at www.wvcantwait.com. Follow the Clay Dem Executive Board Facebook page for updates.
