Sizemore Green House is going to be open for business on Friday March 30, at 9 a.m.!
With 250 total varieties of flowers and vegetables, there is sure to be something to satisfy anyone’s green thumb this season. New this year, there are 44 varieties of perennials! Everyone has been asking about perennials for a while now and they are now available. A perennial is a plant that lives more than two years. Herbs are available as well, including thyme, spearmint, oregano, and sage, starting on March 31, with more to come in the following weeks.
The Viola-Tiger Eye, which is pictured along with the article, is a new flower and smells amazing! To name some flowers that will be available, but certainly not all: black-eyed Susan, gaura, foxglove, and cool wave pansies.
To visit from I-79, take exit 34 Clay/Wallback exit, turn right on route 36, go seven miles, turn left onto Route 4, go about one mile, and Sizemore Greenhouses LLC will be located on your left. Early spring hours will begin on March 30, 2018, and will be Monday – Saturday from 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. Later in the season, they will be open seven days a week with longer hours.
