Wayne Litton, bus driver and mechanic for Clay County Schools, is retiring. Litton’s last day was March 17, 2017. He became a bus driver in 1995 and then went on to be a mechanic in 2003. He is retiring with 22 years of service.
Litton has also been the pastor of Pleasant Dale Baptist Church in Dog Run, Clay County, for 15 years.
Litton has been a blessing to many people and us at Clay County Schools. We will miss him dearly. When Litton was asked what are you going to do now retiring? His answer with a grin: “Get up and fix Robin’s breakfast and start her car.” Sounds like Robin Litton will be very happy with Wayne Litton retiring.
