The Birch River PSD will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, January 11, at 9 a.m. at the PSD office in Birch River.
The Sam Samples cemetery at Procious is low on funds for maintenance. In addition to regular upkeep, there are about six old trees that need to be cut. If you have loved ones in the cemetery, please consider an annual donation so that we can keep the grounds looking good. Any amount will be helpful. Donations are being accepted for the Triplett Cemetery c/o Clay County Bank, P.O. Box 239, Clay, WV 25043 for mowing and maintenance. Donations may also be made via PayPal. Please contact Rocky Nutter at 304-590-7680 for any questions about the cemetery or for PayPal contact information. If no answer, please leave a message or send a text. All inquiries will be responded to.
The Clay County WIC office located at 452 Main Street in Clay is open to serve the public every Monday and Wednesday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
