Hundreds came out to Clay County on Saturday, June 13 to play in mud in the Mud Run 5, which was made possible by the Clay County Mud Runners. For just $25 per vehicle, you could bring your side-by-sides, four wheelers, and ATVs and get dirty, all while raising money to help Clay County finance different projects throughout the year.
The 25 mile, 6-8 hour marked trail makes it a must to event every year for people from all over the United States. You could see the campers and trailers making their way through town to set up camp for the weekend’s events. It was a great time to catch up and get ready to ride on Saturday.
There were raffles to participate in and CCMR gear available to commemorate your experience in the Mud Run. Food was prepared and served at 6 p.m., and entertainment was provided from our very own American Idol contestant, Zack Dobbins
The proceeds of this event went to help us help those in need.
