Make-It-Shine project cleans up Clay County

Pictured from left to right is the Make-It-Shine cleanup crew: Jack Fields, Donna Salisbury, Jerry Linkinoggor, Lynn Samples, Sandy Rogers (Director of REAP) and two employees of REAP. Also, thanks to Jamela Krajeski and Fran King who worked with the crew all morning.

This year, the Clay County Commission partnered with the Clay County Family Resource Network, the Clay County Board of Education, the clay detachment of the state road, and the WV DEP for the annual WV Make It Shine Project.

Every year the WV Make It Shine Project is held during the first two weeks of April. Counties sometimes adopt highways or do an annual clean up. This year we cleaned up trash in three locations along Route 4, as you go up Maysel Hill.
