Lady Mustangs were ruling the nets

There is no doubt that the CCMS volleyball teams, from JV to Varsity, bring all they have to the court when they play.  This past week they were on the road to Calhoun and then back at home against Webster.   After taking a shot on the chin against George Washington on Monday, the Lady Mustangs were primed for a little revenge.   They needed to get the bad taste of losing out of their mouths.   With just three losses on the season, the Lady Mustangs are primed for taking the CWVAC championship if they can just stay focused.    After losing to GW, the Lady Mustangs took their show on the road to Calhoun County for some much needed net time.

Anytime the Lady Mustangs play Calhoun County, it will always be a tough game.  Varsity players came out pumped up, fans seemed to come alive and the decibel levels went into eardrum bursting excitement.  JV and Varsity did not disappoint the fans at all; they played as a team bent on taking on anybody and taking them down.   They defeated Calhoun County in two straight games, much to the chagrin of Calhoun County fans.   Webster was up next and it was like crossing the Elk River in a cardboard box as the Lady Mustangs defeated Webster with a little mercy in two straight games.   If they continue to play like they did in this game then the championship trophy is as good as theirs.  The Lady Mustangs have six more regular season games before the CWVAC tournament. Good luck Lady Mustangs!
