The Clay Afterschool Program and Clay Health Department will be hosting a health fair for students, their families, and the community on Thursday, March 15, at Clay Elementary, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
There will be free information about steam contamination, fire safety (with free smoke detectors for the first 30 participants), healthy lifestyles, substance abuse, and the dairy food group where you can learn how to milk a cow! There will also be free screenings such as weight/height/BMI, waist circumference, blood pressure, finger stick for blood sugar/hemoglobin, vaccines reviews, and vaccinations for the elderly and children (if needed). Finger sticks and vaccinations will only be provided to children if their parents/guardians are present. Food and door prizes will be available as well!
