There will be a Health Fair on October 12 from 7:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. at the Clay County Health Department.

There will be free blood testing for the first 75 participants, the cost will be $18 after the first 75 participants.

There will also be refreshments and educational materials sponsored by the Clay County Health Department, Clay Senior and Community Service Inc., Clay Family Resource Network, and Dr. Kimberly Becher.

For the blood test participants must do the following:

-Fasting, no food or drink after midnight.

The blood tests can check for CBC (overall health), CMP (liver, kidney, protein, and electrolytes), lipids (cholesterol), Hemoglobin A 1 c (diabetes), and PSA (prostate cancer- men).
